African Union High Representative for Infrastructure Development Raila Odinga on Sunday left the country for a one-week visit to Indonesia.
Odinga is expected to address the Indonesia-Africa Infrastructure Dialogue set to take place in the city of Bali on Tuesday, August 20 and August 21, 2019.
In a statement to newsrooms, Odinga’s spokesperson said the former premier will address the opening session of the conference on August 20, where he will explain the status of Africa’s infrastructure development and future plans.
The event is a follow up to the Indonesia-Africa Forum held in 2018.
It aims to strengthen relations between Indonesia and Africa, with particular focus on infrastructure development and other strategic industries.
