Kenyan super talented rapper Wangechi rocked the stage at the October 2023 Blankets and Wine edition as she delivered stunning performances of some of her previous tunes as well as new hits off her latest album.
The ‘Sana Sana’ hitmaker alongside Wakadinali’s Scar, entertained the crowd with singles like ‘Romantic Rivals’ and ‘Hush Hush’ off their 2022 collaborative album.
From her most recent project, the celebrated rapper joined forces with the rising Kenyan rap group Buruklyn Boyz to deliver a sensational performance of the new hip-hop track titled ‘Mzigo’.
The collaboration between the beauty with a notable presence in the music industry, and the talented Buruklyn Boyz has already garnered significant attention from Kenyan rap fans.
‘Mzigo’ showcases the distinct styles and lyrical prowess of both Wangechi and Buruklyn Boyz, resulting in an infectious blend of rap verses, catchy hooks, and captivating beats.
Kenyan rapper Wangechi released her album “Emotional Gangster,” on 15th September.
The 10-track project comes after a 9 year break from the Rapper.
Wangechi sees the album as a declaration of identity and an embodiment of the strength of vulnerability in music.
