NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 20- Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) Chief Executive Officer (CEO0 David Njegere has announced that the registration of the 2023 national examinations will begin on February 1 and close on March 31, 2023.
Njengere said registration is the first step in administering an examination, and appealed to all centres for both Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) to register their candidates on time.
CEO Njengere was speaking during the release of the 2022 KCSE results.
“We are opening the portal on the 1st of Feb to 31 st of March. kindly make sure that all eligible candidates are registered,” Njengere said.
He made the appeal noting that in some instances they get reports that some candidates are yet to be registered a week before the examinations.
“You have two months to register for the 2023 national examinations, kindly register on time and make this easier for KNEC,” he added.
