– The deal is set to run over a span of three years
– Rwanda targeted the French giants because she believes PSG is about more than just football
– A similar deal was signed with Arsenal in May 2018 and has been a success so far
In the next few months, fans should expect to see the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and other superstars of French champions Paris Saint Germain wearing kits donning the words Visit Rwanda.
This is after a lucrative three-year deal between PSG and the Rwanda government was signed “with specific objectives from both players.”

According to the Rwanda Development Board (RDB), the deal will have three main cornerstones in mind: cultural and artistic synergies, a shared commitment to excellence and football development.
As a club, PSG has approximately 72 million fans across its various social media platforms.

Rwanda is set to benefit largely from the deal as its tourism sector is likely to get exposure to millions of new tourists.
Clare Akamanzi Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of RDB, expressed optimism in the deal and expects the next three years to be a massive success.
Akamazi said PSG was the preferred partner because if anything, it is “more than a football club”.
“We have chosen PSG because it is more than a football club, but a custodian of entertainment, a lifestyle. It is the youngest of the biggest European clubs and it stands for similar values like Rwanda: Ambition, World vision, close ties with the youth and excellence,” he said as quoted by LeFigaro.
The phrase Visit Rwanda will also be available in stadium contours and this will include promotion some Rwandan heritage.

On PSG’s part, the deal will likely revolutionise the sporting world in France and Europe in general while helping some foreign companies smoothly spread their markets to Africa.
As TUKO.co.ke reported, the deal is second of its kind as Rwanda is already in partnership with English Premier League giants Arsenal.
