The police commander said the heavy police presence will continue to be a feature in the area to enhance security in the region.
He warned parents abetting the vice saying those not taking their children to school and allowing them to indulge in criminal activities will be held accountable.
The residents praised the move by the Government to recover the animals saying livestock theft has left a majority of them poor and sick as they try to come to terms with the perennial cases of banditry attacks and livestock raids.
They claimed that the bandits were too daring saying they commit the raids in daylight and at night with total disregard of the heavy presence of security personnel drawn from various units among the RDU and GSU.
The residents said the return of the cattle was a good sign saying there is hope more animals will be recovered.
