NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 1 – Fulfillment logistics enabler Sendy has introduced a new feature that allows customers to pay for goods after deliveries.
The start-up says customers will from now be able to inspect their packages before making payments, providing them with confidence.

They will also have to indicate whether Sendy should collect good value or value of good plus delivery fees.
All payments will be collected and remitted to sellers once confirmed.
“We believe that this will enhance their experience when using Sendy to fulfill their orders,” the startup Chief Operations Officer Nyambura Karita said.
“We listened to the feedback from our sellers and their customers and we are hopeful that offering payment on delivery will help to improve service delivery to them,” she added.
It also offers buyer protection, preventing customers from receiving fake products.
Businesses will be able to manage their payments effectively and alleviate sales losses through encouraging customers who prefer to pay upon delivery of their goods.
“We understand that some customers may have concerns about their purchases.Through this service, we hope to give them even more peace of mind and confidence in their Sendy experience,” Nyambura said.
