Serani Boys started their Mombasa County Secondary School games on a winning not overcoming their long time rivals Shimo La Tewa Secondary 2-0 in the Under 19 category.

Mwidadi Said opened the scoring in the 20th minute before Bandari youth winger Abdulrahman Mohamed added the second, 10 minutes later for the Swaleh Sundah coached side.

Speaking after the game, Sundah -who formerly coached Mombasa power houses Tononoka Boys and Green Palms- said he is aiming for the nationals on his first year with the boys.

“It’s my first year with Serani but the boys are good and we’re aiming for nothing than the national slot,” said determined Sundah.
