Shujaa hits Jamaica to stay in touch of knock out phase

Kenya Rugby seven’s team,Shujaa, pummeled Jamaica 45-0 in its second group D match of the Commonwealth Games at Coventry Stadium,UK.

The win a second after opening 27-14 win against Uganda ensured that Kenya coached by Damian Patrick Mcgrath had one foot in the quarter finals.

Against Jamaica Kenya raced to a 24-0 halftime lead before wrapping up the win with a 21-0 second half performance.

Vincent Olindi, Vincent Onyala, Nelson Oyoo, Willy Ambaka, Kevin Wekesa, Bush Mwale and Alvin Otieno each scored one of Kenya’s seven tries during the match.

In another group D match Uganda recovered from their opening loss to draw 12-12 with Australia.
