Simiyu Robinson Wanjala is the top candidate for the 2020 KCSE examination results released by Education CS George Magoha.
Wanjala a candidate from Murang’a High School scored A plain with a mean grade of 87.334 points.
He was followed by Wasonga Allan Odoma from Agoro Sare High School who scored A plain as well with 87.73 points.
Third student was Sharon Chepng’eno a female from Kenya High School with A Plain of 87.173.
Magoha stated that a total of 893 students scored A plain in the 2020 KCSE exams.
A total of 143, 121 candidates attained the C+ and above grade.
“This is an improvement compared to the 125,000 candidates we got in 2019,” he stated.
Approximately 747,167 students sat for the KCSE exams with, with over 380,000 students being males and over360,000 being females.
