When Kenyans decide to gang up against you, all you can do is nothing short of being humble. Gospel artist, Bahati has been forced to defend his stand on the viral ¨Wajinga Nyinyi¨ anthem.

Yesterday, Bahati decided to show his support for King Kaka´s ¨Wajinga Nyinyi¨ anthem that fires shots at the current political Kenyan government that is driving us to poverty.

Bahati urged Kenyans to vote wisely but hardly did he know Kenyans remember he was at the center of the Jubilee (current party in Government) campaigns in 2016.

He became the punching bag ever since he put up his post and has now decided to swallow the humble pie and explain to Kenyans, in defense.

Through his Instagram page, Bahati stated that despite having entertained the public and the party during the campaigns, he reaped nothing from them.

He apparently never got paid for the music, neither the over 500 roadshow campaigns he was a part of.

Defense

According to him, he is no different from me and you who rose up in the wee hours of the night to vote, only for the election results to be manipulated thereafter.

SASA TUFUNGUE ROHO!
Seen, I have been Trending on Twitter since Morning Since I Supported King KAKA’S #WAJINGANYINYI Song. But let’s be factual, Vile Tuu Nyinyi Mlidanganywa Mka Amka 4am Ku Vote Ata Mimi Iko Hivyo Hivyo Hivyo- Ata Yangu Ilikua Zaidi, This is the Reason- IF YOU DON’T KNOW I Did Over 555 Campaign Roadshow Stops Around the Country Still Waiting for the Promise I was Given…

The ¨mama¨ singer adds:

Ata Karibu Niwachwe na Bibi Yangu Juu Hakua Ana pata Rights Zake….. To Add Icing on the cake Nikakalia Hadi Kiti Ya President But Still My Life Never Changed NIKO HAPA HAPA NANYINYI TUNA PAMBANA!!!.

Bahati´s pleas

He concludes by lauding his fans for the continued support, urging all to ensure that ethnicity does not come into play when casting our votes in 2022.

Otherwise, if eligibility does not get us the leaders Kenyans want, then the next 5 years after that, we will all be crying over our decisions.

Actually If Sio Nyinyi Ma Fans Kunishikilia na Neema Ya Yesu Sahiii Sijui ingekuaje… And That’s Why the Little I get Everyday I make Sure I Support Someone Coz WE ARE THE CHANGE WE NEED!!! But if 2022 Tutajishau Tu Vote According to Our Tribes and Not the Eligibility of the Candidate…. 2023 to 2027 KILIO NI KILE KILE!!! #MjingaMimi#WajingaSisi LET’S ALL WAKE UP???
