Kenyan songbird Phyllis Mwihaki Ng’etich popularly known as Phy has a bun in the oven.
The ‘Taboo’ singer took his fans by surprise on Wednesday when she let the well-kept cat out of the bag on Instagram. And she did it in style as she shared pictures of her growing baby bump and captioned them using a pun.
“Let’s just say I ‘bumped’ into a blessing. ?,” wrote the 26-year-old musician.
While Phy is one of the few celebrities who rarely share photos of their spouses on social media, the last guy she was in a relationship with was Ugandan Kyansimire Oroni, a writer, poet, and visual artist based in Nairobi.
It’s still unclear if they are still together and if Oroni is the father of Phy’s unborn child.

Phy’s announcement comes weeks after she graduated from the University of Nairobi with a degree in Real Estate studies.
Things are definitely looking up for the massively talented singer who rose to fame in 2015 after she won season one of ‘Maisha Superstar’, a music TV reality show in East Africa.
