Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko on Monday lost his cool and started hurling insults at an unknown person.
A video posted on his Twitter handle shows the former governor ranting over someone who allegedly dissed him after he refused to give him help.
According to Sonko the person is over the age of 18 and therefore could afford his own income.
Sonko’s rant got him to show off wads of money in the dollar currency stashed in his house.

Rant irks Alai
Sonko’s rant seems to have irked many social media users. Kileleshwa ward MCA called him out for showing out the wads of cash saying that it necessarily does not mean that he has money.
“The fact that you can operate a camera and display a ward of cash doesn’t make you rich. You can be having some wads of cash while upstairs, wewe ni maskini wa ki akili. Jamani, tafuteni knowledge and wisdom. Gig piny bura oloyo. Never seek validation from netizens,” said Alai.
“Maisha ni yangu. Wewe nyamaza. Yako ya Mca umesaidia nayo nani?” Sonko responded.
