Popular comedy TV show, Churchill Show, has postponed its first live recording of 2019 due to the terror attack which happened on Tuesday at the 14 Riverside Drive.
In an announcement the Churchill Show, which airs every Sunday night on NTV said that the recording which was to take place on Thursday night had been pushed to next week.
“In solidarity with fellow Kenyans. Following the Dusit attack we hereby postpone our first live recording to next week Thursday, 24th Jan. Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this. See you next week at Carnivore,” part of the statement read.
SAFELY EVACUATED
The recording for the show, which is hosted by Daniel Ndambuki aka Churchill, was supposed to take place at the Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi beginning 8pm.
The attack has far claimed over 20 lives.
Red Cross Secretary General, Abbas Gullet, on Wednesday said that more than 700 people had been safely evacuated from the scene of crime.
Mr Gullet also said that all those caught up in the attack had been accounted for following the tragic incident.
