In a video shared on TikTok, it can be seen that he attempted to pose with a woman whom he had randomly encountered. However, the woman did not appreciate being recorded without her consent and responded by slapping Rex on the back.
Rex’s signature move is to approach strangers on the street and record himself posing with them. Typically, the people he encounters either shy away from the camera or are willing to participate and even enjoy the experience. However, in this particular instance, the woman did not appreciate being approached by a stranger with a camera.
It is possible that the woman was unaware of who Papi Rex was, and may have felt uncomfortable being touched by a stranger in public. Regardless of the reason, the woman was clearly unhappy with the situation and responded by physically assaulting Rex.
