HOMABAY, Kenya, Dec 8 – Two out of the four children who were poisoned and stabbed by their father on Tuesday night in Homa Bay have succumbed while receiving treatment at the county referral hospital.
The two, who are twins, aged 3 years have died as a result of overwhelming intoxication from the poison which affected their brains and other internal organs, according to the medics.
Charles Ochola, a physician says one child died at the ICU while his brother passed away while receiving treatment at the General ward.
Ochola, however, indicated that two other children are now out of danger but are still receiving treatment at the facility.
The father of the children committed suicide on the fateful night.
