Singer Brown Mauzo, now the estranged partner to Kenyan socialite and reality TV star Vera Sidika, has confirmed that the two of them have officially parted ways.
The singer who shares two lovely children with the socialite has shared a statement thanking their fans for being part of their journey, revealing that the pair has decided to call it quits after almost three years of their union.
Mauzo acknowledged the memorable moments they had shared throughout their journey, expressing gratitude for the experiences they had created together.
However, he emphasized that their relationship had reached a point where parting ways was in the best interest of both parties and their children.
“Dear friends and supporters, I wanted to take a moment to share some personal news. After much consideration, Vera Sidika and I have decided to part ways,” he wrote on Instagram.
“Our journey together has been filled with unforgettable moments, but we have reached a point where it is best for both of us and our babies, Asia Brown and Ice Brown, to move forward separately,” he went on.
Details of Vera and Mauzo’s 2-Year Union
The pair’s relationship dates back to August 2020 when they moved in together barely three months after the curvy socialite broke up with her Tanzanian lover Jimmy Chansa.
In February 2021, the celebrity couple revealed that they were expected their first bundle of joy, Princess Asia Brown, whom they welcomed on October 20, 2021.
Vera and Mauzo shared a glimpse of their second child, a baby boy, in May 2023, more than two months after they welcomed him to the world.
In past interactions with her fans, Vera expressed why she always opts for surgery (c-section delivery) instead of having her kids through the normal way.
The mom of two has always been known for having things done her way, to the extent of scheduling delivery dates for her children.
“I have scheduled a date for CS surgery. Like I said before I prefer CS. Zero pain.” She said weeks before welcoming Prince Ice Brown.
