Western Stima beat Kakamega Homeboyz 2-1, top KPL standings

Western Stima moved up to pole position on the Kenyan Premier League table at the expense of Mathare United after coming from behind to beat Kakamega Homeboyz 2-1 as the 2018-2019 season entered match day three.

Western Stima, who have now won their opening three matches, fell behind in the first half but netted two goals in the second period for the three points.

Mathare United, who have been at the top of the table since match day one, played a full 90 minutes without breaching Ulinzi Stars defense and have now moved down to second place on the table with seven points.

KCB collected their first point in the top flight after fighting from a goal down to draw one all with giants Bandari who moved down to third place on the table.

KCB, who lost their opening two matches, sit above Mount Kenya and Zoo Kericho who are the two bottom sides.
