Krispah: Aeronautical Engineer
Ndovu kuu became an overnight sensation courtesy of his easy flowing lyrics that are laced with humour. Reports have it that the Ndovu ni Kuu singer was first called to pursue a degree in Geospatial Engineering but did not like it.
DJ Mochi Baybee: Engineer
A purveyor of infectious energy as she describes herself, Mochi relocated with her family to the US for greener pastures in 2009. She studied her Bachelors’s Degree in Engineering at Minnesota State University, and Iron Range Engineering and Master’s in Engineering at the University of St Thomas. She started working as an engineer but her pull for music and desire to make people dance became her passion.
Avril: Graphics Designer
While celebrating her 35th birthday Avril dropped her 13-track album, Spirit, featuring inspiring songs, sensual hits, dance and reggae numbers as well as spiritual melodies. Her career path would have been a whole different story after 2009 when she graduated with a degree in Art and Design, Graphics, and Product Design.

This adorable beauty has been turning heads ever since she hit the limelight. YouTuber and content creator popularly known for her travel and lifestyle vlogs is not only beautiful but brainy. Report has it that she went to the University of Leeds, where she pursued Architectural Engineering, graduating in 2016.
Frasha: Physiotherapist
Before calling it quits and joining the now-defunct boy band Punit, Frasha was a practicing physiotherapist at the Aga Khan University Hospital. In most of his songs he refers to himself as ‘Dakitare.’
Nameless: Architect
The Voloyuum hitmaker is one of the few musical geniuses that have not only succeeded in music but also in education. Nameless is a graduate of the University of Nairobi with a Degree in Architecture. The award-winning artiste was among architects that designed the The Hub Karen.
Njugush: Journalist
If life went by the books, funny man Njugush would be probably on your screens, not as a comedian but a reporter. Njugush attended the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication, where he studied journalism.
Elani
The three members of the Elani Band: Maureen Kunga, Bryan Chweya, and Wambui Ngugi are all degree holders from the University of Nairobi. Chweya would have become a lawyer, and so would Maureen Kunga. Wambui Ngugi would have been an actuary – she holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science.
Wabosha Maxine: Mechanical Engineer
In another universe, the petit Youtuber would have been an engineer.
Nyashinski: Environmentalist
Nyashinski is among the few rappers in the country with a successful comeback to the music industry. The former member of Kleptomaniax pursued a degree in Environmental Planning Management, but he once stated that he has never applied it.
