Police in Buru Buru have launched investigations after a young woman was attacked by an irate mob after fire erupted in her house following a scuffle.
The woman identified as Mary Atieno reportedly got into a fight with her boyfriend and in the process fire erupted.
According to a police report, Atieno’s neighbours affected by the fire then rushed to help to put out the fire before attacking the woman.
They then descended on the Atieno with blows and kicks for allegedly putting them in danger with their acts.
The boyfriend however escaped the mob unscathed.
