A mother of three was on Wednesday charged in a Murang’a court with murdering her husband.
Edith Nyaguthie Mburu denied the charge before Judge Kanyi Kimondo and asked to be freed on lenient bond terms.
The court remanded her until June 17 when her bail application will be heard and determined.

She was charged that on April 22, for willingly murdering John Munene Maina in Ithanga village.
She was arrested after a relative of the deceased found her and her two daughters dragging bloody bedding towards a shallow grave, according to police.
