Citizen TV news anchor Waihiga Mwaura has sent a special message to his wife Joyce Omondi, as she celebrates her birthday.

In the well-crafted post he shared on his Instagram page, Waihiga said that he wished his better half many wonderful years ahead.

He added that Joyce whom he refers to as his flower has always made him a better man.

“My flower @joyceomondi was born today. I just want to wish her a happy birthday and many wonderful years ahead. You make me better. Plus I’m super excited about her brand-new single out today. Hop over to my bio and listen to ‘Satisfy’ by @joyceomondi,” he wrote.

This comes just two days after Waihiga Mwaura won the much sought after BBC Word News Komla Dumor Award, in London.

After winning the award, Mwaura who anchors news on Citizen TV every Friday alongside Jacque Maribe, will spend three months at the BBC headquarters in London.
