Ugandan born entrepreneur Zari Hassan thinks highly of Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko calling him “Handsome”.
In an interview with South Africa’s Jacaranda FM, Zari said that she has tremendous respect for Nairobi’s top boss.
Zari explained that Sonko is a mature man with impeccable character and heart for the disadvantaged in society.
She noted that it is the same trait her late husband Ivan Ssemwanga had that is why she got married to him in 2004. .
“I want to reveal my love for the handsome Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko. He is the man I have secretly admired for a long time.” she Says
“I love this handsome governor because he is a man of impeccable character and passionate convictions. He is not as boyish as the other kid who has been chasing me around.
“If you see mike, please pass a word to him and tell him someone cares about him. I love this man because despite being powerful, he shares traits with my late beloved husband Ivan who loved to help the poor,” narrated Zari.
Sonko’s philanthropy, as Zari shared, was greatly lived by Ivan Ssemwanga.
Billed as one of the original Rich Gang members, Ivan was famed for his charity such as his selfless donations to 50 children at M-Lisada home in Nsambya, Kevina, Uganda.
She got married to Ivan in a traditional Baganda wedding (Kwanjula ceremony) on December 24, 2011.
Zari, however, separated from the flamboyant businessman in 2014. They had three children together.
