Kangogo was a conduit for siphoning public resources at Nita and her death has to do with her decision to expose illhappenings, including a state witness.

Nita has faced wide scale of financial fraud and unethical accounting and procurement practices. Those implicated are Stephen Ogenga – director general, James Nyang’au – accountant, Thomas Nakitare – accountant, Timothy Chetegei – accountant, Allan Matete – accountant who quit his job under mysterious circumstances and the late Kangogo.

Weekly Citizen has established that the cartel is blaming Matate for leaking confidential information to the media on corruption at Nita after leaving the institution.

To loot, the cartel manipulates accounts that involves Homecare Management and Associated Accredited Trainers, procurement fraud through hot-air supplies, and high-value and obscene impress advances.

Ogenga and accounting officers are said to have through illegal financial activities, criminal misappropriation of public funds, and criminal breach of trust have looted Nita.

The accountants’ lifestyles were astonishingly above their pay, driving flashy cars and living big, yet they are temporary employees.
