A Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Pastor who seemed angered by a section of the bridesmaids dressing in Nyamira has defended his actions
Pastor Jared Omwoyo chased the bridesmaids away for allegedly not adhering to the church’s rules.
Speaking to Edel 001 online TV for the first time after the incident, the Pastor said he would not apologize for chasing away the bridesmaids as they had worn skimpily against church rules.
He also added that some men who attended the wedding had dreadlocks, while women had make up on, braided hair and even lipsticks.
The cleric said it was therefore a shock to him when he witnessed that yet the couple were strict Adventists.
SDA Church Apologizes
This came even as the Seventh Day Adventist Church apologized following the incident.
Through their fan page, the church asked Kenyans not to be angered by what the pastor did asking them to join them in their services.
“We would like to take this opportunity through this fan page to apologize to Kenyans who might feel that our Pastor chased them from our church. Maybe he was angered and took the matter out of proportion. We love you all and welcome you all to our churches. SDA church is for us all,” the Church said.
