Naivas Supermarket on Saturday opened a branch in Ruai, bringing its total outlets in the country to 88.
The new branch in Ruai joins other branches in accelerating its quest to give affordable household commodities to the ecomically crippled Kenyans.
Speaking during the opening the retailer’s Chief Commercial Officer Willy Kimani said that the opening of the store is monumental since its strategic location and low price prices will serve the residents of Ruai at the time most Kenyans are struggling
“We celebrate each store’s opening as it adds fuel to the fire that drives the business which is to see to it that we remain to be a local success story upon which many other Kenyan entrepreneurs build their dreams. However, we are particularly very excited about this opening,” said Willy Kimani, Naivas Chief Commercial Officer.
The new branch will give offers on wide range of selected items and TV sets during the FIFA world cup that is set to start tomorrow 20th November, 2022.
“The new outlet has a well thought out product range that has become akin to the brand and being the first foodmarket in Ruai you can bet that the experience is going to be wholesome not just for the residents of Ruai but even for travelers along Kagundo road,” added Kimani.
The 89th store is set to be opened at a date which is yet to be disclosed.
The upcoming stores in raise the retailer’s branch network across the country t as it races to defend market leadership against an aggressive QuickMart.
Aggressive entry and expansion by retailers such as Naivas, took up spaces previously occupied by troubled retailers such as Tuskys and Nakumatt.
